Our Team

As Co-Founder, Eric Rosenkranz leverages his extensive experience from Microsoft, Google, and CapitalG to shape Plus Wellbeing's strategic direction and growth. He is passionate about applying technology to enhance health outcomes and build impactful businesses. His focus includes fostering innovation, building key partnerships, and ensuring the company stays at the forefront of the health-tech industry. Eric's leadership is instrumental in driving the company's mission to provide personalized and effective nutrition solutions. Eric is a licensed Emergency Medical Services Provider in Maryland. As a volunteer, he serves as Officer in Charge of an ambulance crew one night per week where he responds to 911 calls and personally treats medical patients and trauma victims.

Kelly is the Founder and CEO of Kelly's Choice, a successful Dietitian practice and media group with 14 years of experience providing nutrition guidance and interventions for individuals and organizations. Kelly is a proud board member of the American Heart Association, advocating for heart health and wellness on a national level. She holds a bachelor's degree in nutrition from West Virginia University and a master's degree in health education from SUNY Cortland. Kelly's extensive experience includes serving as the division dietitian at Wegmans Food Markets and as a clinical dietitian at Auburn Hospital, specializing in bariatrics, critical care, and nutrition support.

Lisa Czanko, MD, MPH is a physician executive specializing in digital health, AI-supported care, and population health strategy. She advises health tech companies on clinical leadership, product development, and scalable care models. She earned her MD from Columbia University, completed her MPH at Harvard, and trained in internal medicine at Stanford.

Chris is a multidisciplinary technologist with over 25 years of experience leading teams in software innovation and product development. With a deep, hands-on expertise spanning web, API, and platform development to embedded systems, microcontrollers, and generative AI, Chris has delivered cutting-edge solutions across a wide range of industries, including financial services, telecommunications, advertising, immersive media, healthcare, and crowdsourcing. He is passionate about building scalable and resilient systems that provide exceptional user experiences. Chris champions agile methodologies and fosters a culture of continuous learning within his teams.

Shani Fargun is an AI Digital Healthcare & Patient Experience Expert and Head of Product at Plus Wellbeing. She is currently pursuing her MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management as a Dean's Fellow and Fortè Fellow, class of 2025. As a dedicated advocate for empowering women in tech, Shani actively works to create inclusive opportunities and mentorship within the industry. Her expertise spans AI-driven healthcare solutions, product strategy, and patient experience optimization. Shani has been recognized as a ProductX speaker, sharing insights on digital transformation in healthcare. As a W2W 8200 Alumni, she brings valuable experience from elite technology and innovation programs. Her focus at Plus Wellbeing is on developing cutting-edge product features that enhance patient outcomes and streamline care delivery through intelligent technology solutions.

Creative Developer and Design Engineer with over 20 years of experience guiding businesses through technological transformations – from the early internet and social media to Web3 and AI integration. His expertise lies in design engineering, establishing robust design system fundamentals, and building reusable components, patterns, and layouts that scale. Alan possesses a strong sense of aesthetics combined with deep technical proficiency, allowing him to craft unique, modern, and highly functional user experiences. He is committed to user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices.

Stefano Maroni is a Milan-based board adviser to LA Farmaceutica S.p.A., a leading Italian pharmaceutical distributor, a role he has held since 2012. Drawing on nearly three decades in international consumer-goods leadership, he guides the family-owned company's growth strategy and digital transformation while serving on additional private-company boards. Stefano's deep understanding of global markets, corporate governance, and sustainable business practices provides invaluable strategic direction to Plus Wellbeing. He is dedicated to building companies that not only succeed financially but also contribute positively to society. His vision for Plus Wellbeing is to become a global leader in personalized nutrition.

Katelin Dial is an integrative health coach and the founder of Clean Life Collective, a Washington-DC-based health and wellness platform offering coaching services and local anti-inflammatory meal delivery. In 2021, she launched CLC Meals with local chef Anne Alfano to deliver healthy, locally sourced meals to customers in the DC area. Katelin is a mom to 4, and her passion is educating people on how food can be medicine and helping people eat better and feel better so they can live a full, vibrant life.

He also served as an advisor to Alphabet's independent venture fund, CapitalG, for a two-year term, during which he advised numerous portfolio companies on B2B growth and channel sales. His expertise spans strategic partnerships, market expansion, and fostering innovation within large tech ecosystems and startups alike. Eric is passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and is committed to guiding Plus Wellbeing towards impactful growth. Gene Zaino leads GuideBridge, a business management group based in Austin, Texas (founded 2023). A seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and advisor, Gene has 35+ years of experience building, merging, and selling technology and services businesses. His ventures have been backed by top institutions—including Kleiner Perkins, Wells Fargo, Austin Ventures, Goldman Sachs, Primus Capital, Emerald Capital, and ICONIQ Capital—reflecting a consistent track record of value creation. Gene brings invaluable strategic guidance and business development expertise to Plus Wellbeing, helping navigate growth opportunities and partnerships in the competitive healthcare technology landscape.
Advisors

Scott Mandell is the founder of Mandell Strategic Growth and former CEO of Enjoy Life Foods, which he led through rapid growth and a successful acquisition by Mondelēz International. An experienced operator and investor, Scott brings expertise in consumer health, strategic growth, and capital formation. He is also an EY Entrepreneur of the Year and active member of YPO.

Kyla is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, with a joint appointment in the Division of Preventive Cardiology and Division of Echocardiography. Also serves as co-director of the Cardiometabolic Clinic. Dr. Lara-Breitinger earned her B.A. at the University of California Berkeley, her M.S. in Human Nutrition at Columbia University in New York, and her M.D. at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Her research focuses on investigating dietary patterns and cardiovascular disease mitigation, cardiometabolic disease, and tricuspid regurgitation.

Bringing over 15 years of leadership in ophthalmology and vitreoretinal surgery, Ghassan currently serves as Associate Professor, Chief of the Retina Division, and Vice Chair of Clinical Services at West Virginia University. In these roles, he has driven strategic initiatives to expand specialty eye care, overseen clinical innovation, and led the development of advanced training programs for the next generation of ophthalmologists. He holds an MD with distinction from Boston University and an Executive MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. He resides in Morgantown, WV, with his wife and twin sons.

Dr. Jackie Bjelac is Section Head for Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, the Associate Director of the Cleveland Clinic Food Allergy Center of Excellence and the Institute Experience Officer for Cleveland Clinic Children's. Her primary clinical and research interests are in food allergy prevention and treatment.

Bella Oldham develops evidence-based strategies to manage chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Culinary Dietetics degree from Johnson and Wales University, she combines clinical expertise and culinary creativity to create personalized, accessible nutrition plans. Guided by her motto, "You can't live a full life on an empty stomach," Bella is dedicated to empowering healthier lives through sustainable, patient-centered care. She actively works with patients to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring that nutritional plans are both effective and enjoyable. Bella is also involved in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating habits.

Joshua Witkowski is an advisor at Plus Wellbeing, focusing on market research and strategy. With 12 years of leadership experience in the U.S. Navy and an MBA from MIT, he supports the company's mission to advance effective, patient-centered healthcare solutions.

Dr. Gita Ram is a pediatric allergist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she serves as the medical director of the Oral Food Challenge. Her passion is empowering children and their families navigating the challenging world of food allergy.

Wolf is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years in tech and nine successful exits, including a sale to Microsoft. As CEO of EastBanc since 2007, he has scaled the company significantly while serving on key advisory boards for Microsoft and the World Economic Forum. Originally from Nuremberg, Germany, he holds an MBA from the Ingolstadt School of Management.

Caryn Rowe Africk's leadership experience spans business strategy, marketing, sales, product development, and operations. She is renowned for driving organizations to achieve their strategic objectives and financial targets. Caryn has led global marketing, sales, and operations for many companies spanning multi-billion dollar start-ups to private equity early-stage companies. Caryn counsels leaders and boards on growth strategies.
